Made by B.

Why

Nobody remembers what a company promised. They remember how it felt when it mattered.

Made by B is a design practice of one, based in LA. The work is helping makers, from product builders to design leaders, build experiences that land with customers now and hold up against whatever comes next.

How

It starts by looking, not pitching. What a team is actually doing, what it believes it is doing, and where the two have quietly come apart.

Then the work happens inside the team rather than in front of it. Close enough to the craft to be useful, senior enough to clear the path. Usually that means doing fewer things rather than more, and leaving something behind that keeps working after the engagement ends.

What

A clear read on where a team actually is, rather than where the roadmap says it is. A point of view sharp enough that people can make decisions without asking. A way to tell which of the things a team is already building deserve to spread. Workshops and courses that leave people better than they were found.

What that has looked like in practice: billions in customer money kept safe, a support experience automating more than twice as much work without anyone feeling less cared for, and a discrimination problem a company could finally see, measure and act on.

Made by B is deliberately small. The person you talk to is the person who does the work, which is the entire point of it.
