This site is one page describing a design practice. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing to buy, and no form to fill in. If you decline cookies, the only thing that happens is that we stop counting visits.

Analytics, only if you agree to it. If you accept cookies, Google Analytics records which pages you looked at, roughly where you are based on your IP address, what browser and device you used, and which site sent you here. It does not tell us who you are. Google sets cookies to do this. If you decline, none of it runs.
A cookie remembering your choice. Our consent tool stores whether you accepted or declined, so it stops asking. This one is necessary and cannot be turned off.
Server logs. Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this site, keeps standard request logs including IP address, timestamp and browser. This is how any website on the internet works, and it is what stops the site being attacked.
Typefaces. The fonts load from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page renders. This is disclosed here because it is true, not because it is unusual.
If you email. Your address and whatever you wrote sit in a Google Workspace mailbox, so that a reply can be sent. Nothing is added to a mailing list, because there is no mailing list.
Under GDPR, analytics runs on your consent, which you gave in the banner and can withdraw at any time. Server logs and security run on legitimate interests, being the interest in the site staying up and not being abused. Replying to your email runs on your having written to us.
All four are established providers under contracts that require them to protect your data. None of them are paid to profile you on our behalf.
Made by B, LLC is in the United States, and the providers above process data there. If you are in the UK or EU, that is an international transfer, covered by the standard contractual clauses those providers publish.
Analytics data is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically. Server logs are kept for a short period by Cloudflare. Email is kept for as long as the conversation is useful, and deleted on request.
If you are in the UK or EU, GDPR gives you the right to see what is held about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how it is used, take it elsewhere, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority.
If you are in California, the CCPA and CPRA give you the right to know what is collected, delete it, correct it, limit the use of sensitive information, opt out of sale or sharing, and not be treated worse for asking. Made by B does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
To exercise any of these, email b@madebyb.studio. You will get an answer within 30 days, usually much sooner. If we cannot identify you from what you send, we may have to ask for more before acting.
To change your cookie choice, decline in the banner or clear this site's cookies in your browser and it will ask again.
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the effective date at the top changes with it. There is no version history worth keeping for a site this small.
